Steve Singletary
Steve Singletary, who has lived in Blakely, GA all his life, is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BS in Agricultural Economics. Mr. Singletary manages Singletary Farms, which was founded by his family in 1882.
In addition to agribusiness, Mr. Singletary is a Director of the Bank of Early in Blakely. He has been District Supervisor with the Flint River Soil & Water Conservation District for 25 years, served as President of Georgia Association of District Supervisors, and was appointed to the board of The Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission by Governor Perdue in 2003. Other honors and positions include: president of the Blakely, Early County Chamber of Commerce in 1986; president of the Blakely Rotary Club in 1986; past Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Southwest Georgia Academy and a member of the Blakely First United Methodist Church. Mr. Singletary is married to Liza and they have two girls, Carol and Elizabeth, and one granddaughter, Grace Morgan.
